Raving Reviews

Review of Fairy Cake by Jonathan Emmett

Review by Abigail, aged 9, from Sutton Coldfield, England.   Rating: Brilliant

Tell us what you thought of the story.
This book was good and exiting. I enjoyed it lots. The fairy that Jake and Granny bake was called Dewlally and the way they baked Dewlally was good because they had to use elf raising flour. Dewlally also ruined Jake's party.

Favourite character and why?
Dewlally because she was the fairy god daughter and because she was very rude and because she was a pest.

Who will the book appeal to most and why?
I think the book will appeal to 7-10 year olds who don't like disgusting things and who like cooking.

Would you recommend the book and why?
Yes I would because I would like to find out what friends think about it.

Could any improvements be made and how?
No
