Tell us what you thought of the story.
It was really sad but because I felt so sorry for Pearl I found it really hard to put down so I found myself getting really involved in the story. It was good.

Favourite character and why?
Definitely Winston. OK so he's a dead guinea pig for most of it but he sounds sooo cute.

Who will the book appeal to most and why?
Most people. Any one without a dad or a grandmother. Or even a dead pet.

Would you recommend the book and why?
Yes. They all like sad sort stories with a bit of humour to stop you crying.

Could any improvements be made and how?
I wouldn't have killed Gran. She was cool.
