Raving Reviews

The Pirates' Mixed-Up Voyage by  Margaret Mahy

Review by Jessy, aged 12, Sydney, Australia.

Opinion of the plot.
I like the story because it is adventurous and has GREAT characters.

Favourite character and why?
I like "Winkle" the best because he is the one that no one ever takes any notice of and I feel sorry for him.

Who will the book appeal to most and why?
I think that the book would be good for kids around 10-12, because it sort of a thicker book and there may be a few words that junior readers wouldn't have heard of.

Would you recommend the book and why?
I think that the book should be read by anyone who likes fiction stories and has a good sense of humour.

Could any improvements by made and how?
I think that the book was great and should be made into a childrens movie.
