Opinion of the plot.
It's a greatly rewritten story about Robin Hood
Favourite character and why?
Cecil is my favourite character. The boy, who late appeares to be a girl. What I
like is that this character brings an element of surprise and mystery in the story.Though
this character never before appeared in the legends, I think that her personality is
rather interesting. I admire that the author added this character to the story, though
it's not a historical one.
Who will the book appeal to most and why?
I think that the book appeals to any reader who likes adventures.
Would you recommend the book and why?
I would certainly recomend this book just as a reading for fun
Could any improvements be made and how?
I like the book the way it is.
Opinion of the plot.
This definetly wasn't like other Robin Hood books. Somtimes in other books, Robin
seems invincible and a little too cocky. In this book, Robin is a little insecure, barely
scraping by with the help of his friends Much, Marian, and a band of people fighting for
the same cause. Another thing, this book distinguishes the rich and the poor a lot
better, since it's the Normans against the Saxtons instead.
Favourite character and why?
I really liked Will Scarlet because at first he seems like a priss, but there's a
lot more than that!
I also really liked Cecil, because he's kind of mysterious at first, and then he's really
surprising instead.
But... I also liked Little John. He's brave and loyal, but he's vengeful too. At the end
though, he gets very romantic...
Who will the book appeal to most and why?
This book will appeal to any person who's enjoyed a Robin Hood book, or seen
a Robin Hood movie (Yes, that does include Men in Tights, even if that's just a hilarious
parody). It's Robin Hood with an extra twist, and a plot that has a lot of sharp turns!
Especially that ending... Wow... That's all I'll say, I'm afraid of giving it away.
Would you recommend the book and why?
I would definetly recommend this book! Like I said, it's Robin Hood, with that
extra twist, plenty of sharp turns, and with Much around, a good dose of comedy!
Could any improvements be made and how?
Well, there are a few lulls in the story, but then Little John, Marian, or
Robin himself will make it leap up to a climax!
