Acceptable Use Policy
The Stories from the Web team wants you to enjoy using the website and enjoy your time on it. We have a few rules to make this a great place for everyone to use.
Do
- remember you are responsible for the way you act on the site
- read our editorial policy before you put any of your work on our site
- make sure the work put up on the site is all your own work
- be polite and appreciate that other people may not have the same views and opinions as you do
- respect other people’s work – if you make comments on work on the site then please make helpful suggestions
- report anything you are not happy with on the site
- write in English
- take responsibility for your use of the website and your contributions to it
All work is read and looked at by the Stories from the Web team before it is put up on the site. We will not put up any work which:
- makes violence, guns and other weapons seem exciting
- which glorifies drugs or alcohol or self-harm/suicide
- contains any sexual content
- uses offensive words or swear words
- tries to influence others towards a particular religious belief or political stance
- is written or drawn by others
- provides links to other websites or email addresses
- advertises anything
Remember never give your family name or address out on the web even on a safe site like Stories from the Web. |
