As Head of Marketing for Children's Books at Oxford University Press, Anna gets involved in working with editorial, design, and sales colleagues on books from the moment a manuscript is bought from the author and their agent; through how the cover should look to appeal to the right audience; and how OUP are going to make sure people know about the book.
It's a complex and exciting process. Anna has worked with children's books before - as a Children's Librarian for Bucks Library Service - and she loves
being part of other people's enjoyment of reading. |

Before that John was Head of Birmingham Libraries and also worked closely with Early Years education and Family Learning, the Youth Service and Adult Education.
