Get up out of that chair and get a life!

Just sitting at home in your bedroom isn't good for you or the world. There are loads of things to do out of school - and many of them don't cost any money...
What can you do?

Your local Libraries and Museums and Art galleries will all have lots of events and activities happening. Most are during the school holidays, but you might also find that your local library offers after school activities too.

Check out your local council. They will often have information about activities, sports and groups for you to get involved in and join for free. You could also ask at your local Family Information Centre for more information about things to do.

Are you passionate about animals? Want to save the world? How about getting involved in local charities in your area? Your local library will have tons of information about local and national charities you could get involved with.

How about some more organised groups? There will be lots of sports groups around you, especially if you live in a big city. You could also try Brownies, Cubs or The Woodcraft Folk.
