  • Smart Moves
Just because she didn’t fit in; she wasn’t a Skater, she wasn’t a Goth, she didn’t wear black or trendy track suits or any identifiable style – she was open to be picked on by everyone, and she was! She coped very well and shook off the taunts until on day it all became too much. She was smart though and I knew she’d pull through. This is what happened…….

  • Gang of Five
It was a small group – just 5 of them – lead by one big, loud bully. They ran the playground and everyone stayed away from them until, one day when they picked on the smallest kid. Everyone thought “This is not on!” The whole school started to talk – how do we end this misery and put a stop to the ‘Gang of Five’. We started to talk…………….

  • Name Calling
She was picked on - for no other reason than her name was different from other kids' names. Every day, she dealt with the taunts and name-calling during recess. • "Come To Town"
My mom doesn't talk to my sister's dad. My sister's dad came into the library and said "Your mom said you could come to town with me and get some clothes." I didn't know what to do. What should I do?

  • It Wasn't Fair
It wasn't fair. I was picked on just because I was the littlest. John got me to do stuff, stuff that I didn't want to do. If I refused, I was dead meat. My best mate Ricky just stood there and let me be teased. But one day, he wanted me to do something real bad.

" Hey, dude," he says picking me up by the collar," You're going to get me that lighter for a fag won't you. That purple one."
" I don't have money," I say trying to walk away. He grabbed me by the shoulders and punched me right in the face. "Don't you walk away from me, I expect to see it by this afternoon." And wham, a kick that sends me flying in the air. I cried and cried not caring the mocking laughter behind me. What should I do?
    HINT: Don't let bullies win!
